Texas has the second-highest rate of residents at risk of going hungry in the nation. That bleak ranking revealed a dramatic increase in food insecurity across the nation in 2022, jumping by 31% across households.**
Hi, I’m Mike Flanagan, President and Executive Director of The Flanagan Foundation. I am on a mission to lead my community in the fight against hunger. I lead a passionate team committed to alleviating hunger by providing food to low-income families, seniors and veterans in our community.
There are three ways you can get involved
to help support our mission.
$25 - $50 Gift cards help seniors and veterans shop in local grocery stores. We need gift cards from Kroger®, Walmart® and H.E.B.®.
2 - Make a Financial Contribution
Financial contributions allow us to participate in local programs for area schools by purchasing back packs, meals and school supplies.
