Texas has the second-highest rate of residents at risk of going hungry in the nation. That bleak ranking revealed a dramatic increase in food insecurity across the nation in 2022, jumping by 31% across households.**
Hi, I’m Mike Flanagan, President and Executive Director of The Flanagan Foundation. I am on a mission to lead my community in the fight against hunger. I lead a passionate team committed to alleviating hunger by providing food to low-income families, seniors and veterans in our community.
We need volunteers on Wednesdays to help stock and distribute food to families in need.
